Refund policy

We want you to love every item you receive from Bella Birmingham. If something is not quite right, this page explains exactly how returns, refunds, and your legal rights work.

Your Statutory Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

As a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item(s)), without giving any reason. This is your right of withdrawal under consumer law.

You may use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page, but this is not mandatory. After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to send the product back to us.

During the withdrawal period, you may inspect the item as you would in a store. If the value of the item is diminished as a result of handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, we may deduct an amount corresponding to that reduction in value from your refund.

Our Extended Return Period (30 Days)

On top of your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we offer an extended return period of 30 days after receipt as an extra service. For returns outside the statutory withdrawal period (day 15 to 30), the following conditions apply:

  • Items are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Labels and tags are still attached
  • Items are in their original or equivalent packaging

Return Shipping Costs

The direct cost of returning items is borne by the customer, both during the statutory withdrawal period and the extended return period. Because returns are shipped to our central warehouse in China, we recommend using a trackable shipping method that supports customs clearance and keeping your proof of shipment until your refund is confirmed. Return shipping costs do not apply to items that arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect — see below.

How to Return

Please do not ship a return before receiving confirmation from our team, as unannounced returns cannot be matched to your order and may delay your refund.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact our customer service as soon as possible with:

  • Your order number
  • The item concerned
  • A description of the problem
  • Photo evidence

We will send a replacement or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer, and you will not be charged any return shipping costs. This does not affect your statutory rights under the legal conformity guarantee, which apply regardless of the timeframes in this policy.

Refunds

For statutory withdrawals, we will refund the full purchase amount within 14 days of your withdrawal notification. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof of shipment, whichever comes first.

For returns within the extended return period (day 15 to 30), we process your refund within 14 days of receiving and inspecting your return.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a few additional business days for the amount to appear on your statement.

Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. Would you like a different item? Return the unwanted product following the process above and place a new order.

Order Cancellations Before Shipment

Orders can be cancelled free of charge within 15 minutes of being placed. After this window, cancellation before shipment is not guaranteed. Once your order has been delivered, your statutory right of withdrawal and our extended return period apply as described above.
